‘Balance’ grabs award at Social Machinery Filmfest

Barzan Rostami’s short animation ‘Balance’ has grabbed an award at the third edition of the Social Machinery Film Festival in Italy.

'Balance' is an animated story about soldiers who sacrifice lives so that people may live in peace.

The animated piece attended various international screening events before, including 1st Adrian Int’l Film Festival in the US, 9th Kinolikbez Int’l Film Festival in Russia, Regina Int’l Film Festival and Awards in Canada, 2018 Full Bloom Film Festival (FBFF), 9th Ojai Film Festival and 5th Grand Rapids Comic-Con Film Festival both in the US.  

'Balance' has been lauded at 2018 edition of the Lakecity Int’l Film Festival in India as well as the Sarajevo Youth Film Festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina.    

It has also grabbed nod for best short animation at Redline International Film Festival in Canada. 

The Social Machinery Film Festival is a film festival with different locations in Italy, Europe and around the world for each event; Film Selection, Semi Finalist Selection, Finalist Film Selection, Winner Award Celebration.

The festival is focused on the promotion of alternative audiovisual film productions across the globe.
